Sonning Fireworks has had a long love affair with electronic and computer firing of shows.  Ever since inception in 1999 we have always fired elements of our shows electrically.  By 2001 we had successfully designed and implemented our first computer firing systems named LonFire.

Since then we have come a long way, carving ourselves a niche as a company constantly innovating and creating new and exciting fireworks shows.

One of our key benefits over other companies is that our show designer Chris Clarke is also a senior software developer and has therefore combined the world of software and fireworks.  Whenever we imagine an effect that isn't possible using the current systems, Chris can modify our own custom software to achieve this new effect.

Chris also owns and runs Lumatech Systems  which provides software and consultancy to other fireworks companies wishing to utilise technology more in their own shows.
