Hampshire Wedding Venues – The Best Places for a Fireworks Finale
11 July 2026

Hampshire's country-house hotels and estates are among our favourite places to fire wedding displays — big skies, mature parkland, and venues that genuinely welcome fireworks. Sonning Fireworks has worked across the county for over 20 years; here are the venues we know best.
Heckfield Place, Hook
One of England's most celebrated country-house hotels, set in 400 acres of Hampshire estate — and a venue we've been proud to fire at. The scale of the grounds lets a display breathe, with long approaches and huge skies.
Tylney Hall, Basingstoke
A grand Victorian mansion in 66 acres of parkland and gardens near Basingstoke. The long lawn vistas frame a display beautifully — guests watch from the terrace as the show unfolds down the avenue.
The Aviator, Farnborough
A strikingly modern hotel overlooking Farnborough airfield and a different flavour of venue altogether — sleek, contemporary, and a brilliant contrast for the oldest form of celebration there is.
Winchfield House, Hook
A Georgian manor in rolling parkland near Hook, from our worked-at list. Its private, secluded setting is ideal for an intimate display that still packs a punch.
Fireworks at Hampshire venues
Hampshire estates tend to have the two things we prize most: distance and darkness. Rural parkland means low light pollution and generous safety distances — the conditions where a display looks its absolute best, whether that's a traditional show or a pyromusical choreographed to your music. If your venue is elsewhere in the county — the New Forest, Winchester, the coast — get in touch and we'll assess the site.
